You must do the Easter eggs to figure out what’s happening. Along the way you meet a less powerful demon who is willing to help you. He wants you to make him more powerful so he can take down the director who cursed him as well. In return he will free you from the curse. Whose side will you choose, the Director or Demonic entity you meet?
